Kris Delmhorst - Broken White Line

My friend Carrie, just last week, told me to check out Kris Delmhorst's song "Yellow Brick Road."  Great song, but this one is my favorite.  It takes me back to my first love, though I didn't know it was my first love when I was in it.  Of course this was in high school (good ole' BHS)--at the end of my senior year.  I guess I should have known when I decided to hang out with her instead of going to prom--hindsight!  Anyway, it took me quite awhile to get over her--I thought I had lost my mind.  The line in this song about the picture and turning it against the wall--what is it about the power of first love?
